East Moriches Union Free School District is located at 9 Adelaide Avenue in East Moriches. Their phone number is (631) 878-0162. They are currently in the midst of constructing a new school building with completion scheduled for January 2004. The current proposed 2004 budget is approximately 15.5 million dollars. That will allow the school district to employ approximately 60 teachers overseeing a 2003 enrollment of 723 students. The school district teaches students from grades K through 8. Once students are eligible they may attend either Center Moriches High School, Westhampton Beach High School or Eastport-South Manor High School.
